Hi Everyone,
I have received an e-mail from Noel advising that at the close of the nominations for this League the only club to submit the correct form is Joondalup. Balcatta has submitted a list of 3 skaters "with a note 'skaters nominating so far.' Morley and Bunbury have not nominated. Are we to understand that no skaters from either of theses Clubs are participating in this league.
I am not sure if skaters or Speed Reps understand the work that goes into preparing for these leagues; the programme needs to be typed and copied; as well as the staring sheets which need to be be drawn up.
I will extend the closing nomination date until 8pm on Tuesday. I ask that ALL speed reps contact their members to see who is competing and submit their nominations on the correct form. (See attached)
Thanks Pauline

Hi Everyone
As previously advised (By Noel) there is a Speed League this Saturday at Skate International. The closing date for nominations were Friday unfortunately a number of Clubs have not nominated any skaters. If you plan to skate in this League please contact your Speed rep and advise them.
It is important that skaters attend theses Leagues; remember States are next months and you need all the racing experience possible.
Anthony Dodd has also arranged for a Road training session to coincide with the League The session is at Carrawarra at 3.00pm. The cost is $5.00 for this session. Anthony is an excellent coach who has won medals at World Championships; he has many road skills to teach. There is also a training session at Joondalup at 12.30pm.
I have extended the nomination closing date until 8pm on Tuesday. After that time skaters will need to pay a Late Fee in addition to their nominations. I am not sure if skaters or poarents understand the work that goes into preparing for these leagues; the programme needs to be typed and copied; as well as the staring sheets which need to be drawn up. It is also important that theses League are economically viable.
Your help in this matter will be appreciated.
Regards Pauline
