Hi all, hope your all well, long time since i have been able to make it in, work up in the NT is very hectic the last few months.
I was curious, on some details of Karawara?
Where is it exactly, is there a rink there or what is it?
I've seen on the site mentions of Karawara, and I'm trying to find out where it is if it is usable, for quick blasts when i cant make it to training.
Ciao for now.
Nathan

hi Nathan, Karawara is south of the river. Go down the free way and turn left onto Manning road it is a few KM,s on the left hand side. You will see a large park( George Burnett park) and community centre. This marks Karawara. There is a smooth cycle/skate path that runs around the park for approx 1 km. It used to be wider and was used for states and nationals, but part of it became too narrow once upgraded. It is still a good training surface. Please be aware that we dont tend to use it anymore because the locals from the skateboard park that edges onto it, take great delight in booby trapping the path with intent to injur. Also some of the locals like breaking into parked cars around the park.
George Burnett Park in the 2006 perth UBD can be found on page 309 B6
